For young musicians, summer institutes are incredibly important. It is an opportunity to venture into the woods with nothing but their instruments, working with  excellent world-class teachers who can offer intense individual instruction and other young musicians who can inspire and encourage one another, building lifelong professional and personal friendships. It has been our dream as Harlem Quartet to make these opportunities available to all talented young musicians, including does who do not have the means to secure this investment in their future, while making these institutes more racially or socioeconomically diverse. Through the generosity of your contribution, we will be able to fulfill this life-long dream by offering need-based scholarships to talented students from around the world to participate in our very own Workshop.

Para un joven músico, los institutos de verano son increíblemente importantes. Es una oportunidad para aventurarse sin nada más que su instrumento, acompañado por maestros internacionales de primer orden que le puede impartir una instrucción individual intensa y por otros músicos jóvenes que se inspiran y se animan mutuamente, constituyendo la base para forjar  relaciones profesionales y personales que duran  toda una vida. Ha sido nuestro sueño como Harlem Quartet poder acercar estas oportunidades a aquellos músicos talentosos que no tienen los recursos para asegurar esta inversión en su futuro y desarrollar programas educativos que reflejen una diversidad étnica y socioeconómica. A través de la generosidad de su aportación, podremos lograr este sueño y ofrecer becas por necesidad económica a estudiantes talentosos alrededor del mundo para que participen en nuestro taller.
